GE Capital Direct has ceased to accept deposits. In order to ensure remaining funds that we have been unable to return to customers are protected, we have made arrangements to ensure they are kept separate from our own funds and continue to benefit from FSCS protection, subject to the usual criteria and limits for FSCS protection. We recently wrote to affected customers to provide further detail on these arrangements.
